Easter 2010

I must say sorry for the major delay. We have been BUSY! I have so much to journal about and so little time. We have been playing soccer, t-ball, in track club, attending fun nights, pre-school programs, a mommy and me class, not to mention work.

look how they are holding hands

What a cute little thing. So sweet. I think she kept that bow in her hair for 2 minutes or seconds

I am outta here.

What Grandma and Papa give Easter presents too!!

Here is Kinley in her new princess car. It is fun to see some pink and purple in the garage. She loves it and gets in and out over and over again. Also notice she is driving with her beloved paci. It may hard to get rid of this!
Drew got this awesome pop up soccer net. This is him celebrating his goal vs. his dad.

Thanks for all the awesome goodies from the Grandmas and Papas. Special thanks to Grandma Renee for the spiderman activity book for getting us through a long mass and then a long wait in the Dr.'s office on Monday.

Dying Eggs

We dyed eggs before Easter last week. It is a definite must around our house. We did miss our helper Aunt Leslie this year, but hopefully we will get her back next year. Drew loves decorating for the holidays and it really brings me back to when I was a kid. It is so fun to watch my kids doing those same things.

Ok guys, lets dye some eggs!
Here is Mckinley looking on at the action.

Wow, look at all these beautiful colors.Ta da! The finished project. As he put them in the cups he named what friend or family member it was for.

Spring Break Part 2 "Hanging with the Boys!!"

During my spring break I wanted to make sure I spent a special day with my big boy. It seems when Kinley is around she gets most of my attention with her getting into and onto everything. So I told Drew to choose 2 buddies and a place and we would have some fun. Drew chose our neighbor buddies; Owen and Zach and the Omaha zoo. We had a great day. It was a little gloomy and cold, but we had a bunch of fun.

GRRRR! Checking out the tigers. I think Drew is impersonating a tiger in this picture.
They loved the gorilla's booty. Best part of the day was the gorilla putting on special show just for us. Thanks for the 5 minute nose picking. He really knew his audience of 4 year old boys, they loved it and laughed and laughed.
I love this boy!
In the jungle.
000000..... those sharks are scary!
They are so cute at this age. So interested in everything and so many questions :)
The aquarium was the biggest hit.

They loved the sharks.

This is us after our day at the zoo. McDonald's of course. This one had a play structure and as much as those things scare me with all the germs, the boys begged and I allowed them to play in it. I did apologize to both mothers and to date not one as come down with any illnesses. We topped off the day with ice cream. I scream You scream we all scream for ICE CREAM! And to my surprise no one spilled a drop. Good work boys!
