Introducing Mckinley Lynn Moser
We apologize for not posting in such a long time, we have been extremely busy with the pregnancy and building our house. We plan to move in about a week so we are almost there. I wanted to quickloy share some pics of Mckinley. She has been an excellent baby and Drew has been a tremendous helper since the birth. We were a little worried but he has been great. We’ll try to post more often.

Goodbye, Old House! Hello, New One!
Well this summer has been packing, getting the old house ready for the new owners, moving, and planning for our new home in Waverly. We sold our home in June and 3 weeks later were moving out. We were lucky to find a temporary place to live not too far away from our old house. I also loved that the duplex was new, so we could move right in with little cleaning. We are pretty settled and we are trying to unpack as little as possible. Drew seemed to settle in well, however, his toys seem to be everywhere in this house because it is smaller. Our new home is started. As you can see from the pictures our basement hole is dug, however, we ran into a small soil problem and are hoping for the soil engineer to give us some info before we pour the basement walls. I am still hoping we can get in before Christmas, but we will see how many more glitches we encounter.
On a kiddo note, I am really feeling the baby moving and my back seems to be bothering me(which I never had with Drew). It may be all the driving cars and trucks on the floor with Drew. I always can tell how much I have been complaining by Drew comments, today we were laying by each other and he was grunting. I asked him what was wrong. He said "this baby movin and hurting my back" So cute!!

Fourth of July Fun!
We had a great fourth. We went to my Uncle's house, as we have for several years now. We started the day around 2:00 at Yankee Hill Country Club for swimming. Drew loves to swim. He will jump in without fear, put his face under, and in the baby pool will lay his whole body under the water. Brandon is a natural swimmer and I like to swim, so maybe swimming will be something Drew will enjoy too. He definitely has no fear which is a little scary in terms of safety. He begged to go on the boards at the pool so we put him in a life jacket and I would watch him from the pool deck and Brandon would catch him from in the pool. He loved it and went off of them over and over again. To the point, he was so tired he could barely climb the ladder. After the pool, we grilled at my Uncle's house and shot off fireworks. Drew was not scared of the fireworks, but he did not love them as much as I thought he might. It was a fun day!

Cool Dude!!
A few weeks ago, Drew was lucky enough to spend the day at our friends Amy and Nate's campsite and take a ride on their boat. He had a blast. He loves running and playing outside any chance he can. In the pictures , I told Drew and Alexa to say "Cool Dude!" and they both said "Cool Dude!" and instead of giving me a thumbs up they both pointed with their index finger. Then we showed them which one was their thumb and then they both gave a thumbs up. So very cute. Drew will now ask, "Is this my "fumb"(thumb)? I just love this age.

Underwear 24/7
Drew was potty trained in April, however, I had still been putting him in diapers at night. Every morning he was waking up dry. Brandon thought we should just put him in underwear at night (to save a buck). I was hesitant because of all the cleaning (wet sheets, blankets, ect.). I went along with Brandon and Drew has been in wearing underwear at night with no accidents to date. A week later we got rid of his paci, and when we moved into our temporary duplex (we sold our home) we converted his crib into a toddler bed. A lot of changes for a little guy. I wanted to go slower with these changes, however, Brandon thought he was ready. To my surprise, they have all been easy. The only problem is napping in his toddler bed. He was getting up and telling me he has something funny to tell me or various excuses. I had to threaten that he would have to take naps in his crib. With that statement he quickly runs back to bed saying " I a big boy". I will post some pictures later of him in his "big boy" bed.

"Look what I got!"
Some of these posts are events that happened in June, however, I am finally feeling back to my old self. I had extreme nausea and have been very tired. I am now 19 weeks along in my pregnancy and have been feeling much better the past 2 weeks.
Brandon and I took Drew to a Friday night Salt Dogs Baseball game and he loved it. When we were walking into the stadium and foul ball was hit over the fence right to us. Drew loved his baseball and proudly carried it all over for the rest of the game. For the next week, he was very interested in playing catch and trying to bat. He loved the music at the game and the bounce house that was set up in the stadium. It was a lot of fun, I hope we can go again soon.
Trip to the BIG zoo!
My mom, aunt Leslie, and my friend Amy and her daughters Alexa and Alainey joined us at what Drew calls the BIG zoo, Henry Doorly in Omaha. We went on a day when it wasn't too hot and stayed for a little over 4 hours. What a great time. Highlights for Drew were the Gorilla's booty, the jungle exhibit with the waterfalls, feeding the fish, and the sharks. It was fun to see him laugh and name all the animals. It was such a change from taking him last summer. We all had a great time and I hope we can go again with Brandon before the summer is over.
